This James Avery band ring is built in solid 925 sterling silver with evenly spaced solid 14K gold dot accents, set into a recessed, oxidized background that gives the whole piece depth right away ⚒️

The surface isn’t flat—the raised silver scrollwork runs continuously around the band, with each curve flowing into the next instead of repeating as a simple stamped pattern. That’s where the work is. This isn’t a quick press or cast-and-done piece—the contrast between the darkened channel, polished silver, and applied gold elements takes multiple finishing steps to get right.

Each 14K gold dot is individually set into the band, not plated or washed, giving that warm contrast against the darker oxidized silver 🟡 The spacing stays consistent all the way around, which is harder to pull off cleanly on a continuous band than it looks.

The oxidized patina has been left intact on purpose—it settles into the recessed areas and makes the scroll design stand out the way it was intended. If someone prefers a brighter look, it can be polished, but this is the look that actually shows the detail 🔍

It wears as a solid, medium-width band—enough presence to stand alone, but still easy to stack if needed. One of those pieces that looks simple at a glance but holds up the longer you actually look at it.

Fun facts:
• James Avery began handcrafting jewelry in Texas in 1954, with a focus on symbolic, wearable designs that still defines the brand today 🤠
• Oxidized silver is intentionally darkened to highlight detail—over time, it naturally settles into recessed areas and enhances the design rather than hiding it 🎨
