HTF Retired James Avery Solid 14K Gold Seahorse Charm Pendant Rare Holy Grail

This retired James Avery solid 14K yellow gold seahorse charm is the piece serious Avery collectors chase and almost never find. The sterling version alone is considered very rare. The 14K gold version is another level entirely, and at the moment this is the only one available anywhere on the internet. Truly one of a kind.

The detail is flawless. Every ridge along the spine is individually defined, the dorsal fin is finely striated like real membrane, and the body carries the raised bony plates and small round nodules that make a seahorse look exactly like a seahorse. The head is fully modeled with a domed eye, a slightly open snout, and a swept crown, and the tail curls into a tight textured spiral at the bottom. Cast in the round with the same crispness front and back, this is James Avery goldwork at its best.

The condition is almost untouched. The gold has that deep warm yellow that only solid 14K carries, the surface is clean and bright, and the AVERY and 14K marks along with the copyright mark are sharp and easy to read. It looks like it went from the workshop into a box and stayed there.
