QVC Diamonique sterling silver ring from the Lisa Mason Floral Bridal design, marked SW, 925 and CZ. The center is a floral starburst built from eight marquise cut Diamonique stones radiating from a small cluster of rounds, each marquise prong set and angled slightly so the petals catch light at different moments rather than all at once. Flanking the flower on both sides, the band widens into five parallel rows of pave set round stones, each row sitting in its own channel divided by a polished silver rib, so the shoulders read as alternating bands of stone and bright metal running out to a smooth wide shank.

The SW stamp is QVC's Diamonique mark, and the CZ beside it is the manufacturer stating the simulant outright in the metal. Diamonique is QVC's own cubic zirconia brand, built on manufacturing facilities and proprietary technology the network acquired in 1988, and at its height in the 1990s it accounted for roughly five percent of everything QVC sold. This particular design came from a collaboration with Lisa Mason, whose Floral Bridal ring QVC listed as item J366658 in platinum clad sterling with approximately 1.87 carats total weight of Diamonique.

Fun Facts:
Some genuinely serious jewelers have designed for QVC's cubic zirconia line. Diamonique began as an outside operation whose manufacturing facilities, proprietary technology and trade name QVC acquired outright in 1988, and over the decades the network commissioned Diamonique collections from fine jewelry designers including Judith Ripka, Tacori, Scott Kay and Erica Courtney, alongside celebrity lines from Morgan Fairchild, Carol Channing and others. At its peak in the 1990s the brand accounted for roughly five percent of everything QVC sold.
A marquise cluster is engineered to cheat the eye, and the geometry is deliberate. The marquise is the most elongated of the standard cuts, which means it covers more surface area per unit of weight than any other shape, and arranging eight of them radiating from a center multiplies that advantage. The result is a flower that spans most of the finger while the actual stone weight stays modest, which is precisely why the cut has been the backbone of cluster design for a century.
